"Nice little reserve to kick a footy or shoot some hoops"
This playground provides enjoyment for younger Children (Under 6) but leaves a lot to be desired for older children.
The grass areas are nice and spacious if you're looking to kick a footy around or play some cricket or soccer and the basketball court appears to get a lot of use.
There is a path that goes through the grassed area which gets some scooter and bike traffic.
The BBQ facilities and shaded seating area are a favourite on weekends with families arriving early to reserve their spot to hold a birthday party.
All in all the reserve is a good place if you're looking for somewhere to blow off steam but doesn't provide anything overly exciting.
Update Coming Soon
The Marion Council has now finished a consultation stage for a new playground and redevelopment of the reserve. We will do an updated review once the new reserve has been built and is being used.
